The Story Behind the Studio
Bostwick Creative Co. grew from a genuine belief that photography and design belong in the same room. I’ve always been drawn to the creative process — whether I’m behind a camera, building a website, crafting a visual identity, or simply dreaming up something new. For me, creativity has never been just a career; it’s always been a natural part of who I am.
The studio began as a one-person practice fueled by a desire to solve visual problems completely — not just capture a moment or choose a typeface, but bring every piece together in a way that feels intentional, authentic, and cohesive. Whether through an image, a brand, or a digital experience, storytelling is at the heart of everything I do.
Before Bostwick Creative Co., there was HK Photo + Design — the name that carried the studio through its formative years. It was built on good work, genuine relationships, and a foundation I’m proud of. The transition to Bostwick Creative Co. wasn’t a departure from that chapter; it was a reflection of how the work had evolved. The clients stayed. The standards stayed. The name simply caught up with the vision.
Today, Bostwick Creative Co. brings photography and design together under one creative roof, with an editorial eye and a personal approach. I love working with people who have a story to tell — brands finding their voice, businesses entering a new chapter, properties waiting to make a first impression, or projects that simply need a little creative direction.
The studio is intentionally small, and that’s where the magic happens. Every project gets thought, care, and a genuine investment in the finished product. I’m able to get to know the people behind the project, understand what makes it meaningful, and create something that feels uniquely theirs.
At the end of the day, the best part of what I do is that no two projects are ever the same. Every new client brings a new story, a new challenge, and a new opportunity to create something meaningful.

How We Work
Every project — whether it begins with a lens or a logo — starts with listening and ends with something built to last. We don't separate photography from design because the best work lives in the overlap.
Craft before speed.
Rushing a project is the fastest way to make something forgettable. We take the time to understand what a client actually needs — not just what they asked for — and we work at the pace the work deserves. That might mean more questions up front and fewer revisions at the end.
Image and identity, unified.
Most studios do photography or design. We do both, and that matters because visual identity is never just the logo — it's also every photograph on your website, every image in your campaign. When one studio controls both, the whole system coheres.
Honest about process.
Creative work involves uncertainty, and we'd rather name that than paper over it. Clients know where we are in the process, what's still being figured out, and what's locked. No surprises at delivery because we've been in conversation the whole time.
Built for the long run.
We design systems that scale and shoot images that don't expire. The goal isn't a deliverable that works today — it's work that still makes sense three years from now when the business has grown into it.
